God Showers us with Great Gifts
The Task is Simple:
The Church will coordinate opportunities for us to help others by collecting food and baby items. Each week there will be a list of items to be purchased and donated, you will find that information in the weekly church bulletin. There are two ways in which you can participate:
1. Fill your bags each week while out shopping and empty them at the Church into our donation bins.
2. Order items directly online via our Amazon Gift Registry to be drop-shipped to the Church, and we will then transport them to the local pantries for distribution.
Our recent Advent project, where you donated food and baby supplies to Lutheran Social Services, was overwhelming! Through your contributions in one month, we delivered 3,000 pounds of food, not counting all the baby items and baby formula. Since so many people responded through our online Amazon registry, we’re continuing the food registry. You can buy food and baby items online, have them shipped to the church, and then we’ll deliver those donations to the LSS facility for distribution to needy families.
