Advent is the four weeks preceding Christmas.  At THE LIFE, on the First Sunday in Advent (the Sunday after Thanksgiving), families gather after worship to assemble a modern twist on the traditional Advent Wreath.

The Advent Box is a square wooden box that we fill with evergreen branches, bows, garland, and five candles in mason jars.  These candles carry the same themes from the Advent Wreath into our homes each year.  At this multigenerational event, the church provides wooden boxes, which most families bring back each year, which reminds us of the Christmases past, as we share the excitement of the season to come.

The Advent Box is a fun family devotional reminder of our life together as we await the coming of the Christ Child.
