Prayer Community
We pray because we believe that God hears our prayers and wants us to be in a close relationship with Him. We pray in prayer groups, we pray in our homes, we pray in our cars, we pray anywhere. And at THE LIFE Church, we have furnished the area inside the front door that we call the Prayer Chapel.
What exactly is the Prayer Chapel?
• It’s a place where we can break from our routines, before coming to worship and ponder, meditate and pray on the things that plague and burden us.
• A place where we can stop, light a candle and remember a loved one who is sick or who has passed on or give thanks for the many blessings we have received from our God.
• A place where we can sit or kneel together and pray as a group for The LIFE, our church that is fast becoming full of life, with God at the center producing fruit in us.
What it’s not?
• It’s not always quiet! Like a station it’s a place where God meets us as we are, where we are, coming or going in our journeys, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of our noisy and busy lives. As Jesus has said: “Where two or three are gathered in my name I am there in their midst.”
As we sit there praying, we hear in the background the worship band rehearsing before our service, and the beautiful music, the lyrics, instruments and voices inspire us further into prayer. We see and hear the people coming into worship, children, families, laughing and talking, and we rejoice and give thanks to God that they are there ready to celebrate the wonderful news of His love for us. We pray that everyone who passes by the Prayer Chapel will take a break from their routines and use this opportunity to give God a break in prayer and thanksgiving. The Prayer Chapel is open anytime before or during service on Thursdays. Also, whenever the church is open, please feel free to come in.
